ETHICS & THE HUMAN BODY 8
KATHY SIEBEL

Simply put, ethics is the study and discussion of the way we ought to be living, of what is good and what is right.  In this class, we will consider what is right with regard to various issues concerning the human body.  For instance, who should be given priority for transplant organs?  When do parents have the final say in their children's health care decisions and when does society?  We will explore ways of discussing complex moral issues using a system of ethics and will examine the ways our ethics might change depending on our role as a patient, parent, doctor, or politician.
