If you would like to donate a live item or an experience (definition below) please send an email to Lori Wilkin and briefly explain your idea. Let us know if you see it as a live item or an experience.

Your auction donation will be reviewed by our team of auction volunteers and if approved, a link will be sent to you via email to finalize your donation.

This year we will have a very limited number of items - six live items and twelve experiences. If your item is not approved please do not take it personally! There may be any number of reasons that it might not work this year.

The deadline for delivering all auction items is Friday, April 19, 2019!

Experiences/Live Items Definitions Defined

Live Items – These are higher-value items that will be auctioned off during the main program at the event. Vacation at a lake house, or 7 course dinner for 8, or valuable Seahawks package, etc.

Experiences – These are not auctioned off. These are community-building events. The purchaser essentially buys “tickets” (or spots) to an event. For example: Parent A offers to have a wine and chocolate party for ladies at her house for 10. Parent A picks a date and time. Parent A and our procurement volunteers decide on a price per spot – say in this case - $75. Purchasers but 1 spot (or 2 or more) spots for that price. Experiences will be sold prior to the event.

A message from your Auction Chairs!

Dear Billings Family,

Please join us for a night to celebrate Growing, at Billings! As parents, we have seen tremendous growth in our children since joining Billings. The expeditionary learning program builds camaraderie through shared experiences. Each child is valued for their individuality yet learns to work together toward common goals. The core values of individuality, inclusivity, exploration, intellectual challenge, social justice, integrity, creativity, collaboration, and fun, form the foundations of the Billings model. From this strong foundation, our children have found the safety and validation they need to have a wonderful and transformative middle school experience.

The Annual Celebration and Fundraising Dinner is our time to come together as a community and experience a unique fundraising event. The funds we raise are critical to the success of our financial aid program, which assures that our classes are socioeconomically diverse and reflect the larger community.

Our event this year will include a cocktail time followed by a lovely dinner served family style. We will have a wine grab, dessert dash, raffle and buy it now items, as well as a carefully curated limited live auction followed by Raise the Paddle. And the best way to learn about how students are Growing, at Billings is to hear from our alumni speakers. 

Again this year, spots in our experience packages will be available for purchase before our Annual Celebration. Look for additional information coming soon from Jill Steinberg, Deb Zaret, and Renee Devine.

We would love to have your help in making this event a huge success. There are many ways for you to be involved:
