MATH 7
PAM CRENSHAW

OVERVIEW

Math 7 builds on the basic skills and concepts taught in Math 6 and add higher level thinking skills and more formal algebra and geometry skills, such as solving multi-step equations.  Students continue to develop mathematical literacy.Through the use of real life applications, activities, manipulatives, discussion, as well as traditional lessons and testing methods, students develop their understanding of skills and objectives. Several projects utilize math skills they have learned, such as taking surveys and displaying the results using a variety of tools and researching and buying stocks and mutual funds in the Stock Market simulation game.
